Danielle Brousaides

Danielle Brousaides

Growing up in rural Virginia, Danielle's family had a myriad of pets including 180 pound Great Danes, ferrets, ducks, chickens, horses, turkeys, and the occasional foster dog (that they always seemed to end up keeping and unable to return.) She volunteered at the Richmond Animal League in Virginia and when she moved to Boston in 2010, continued volunteer work with animals in Massachusetts. In 2022, Danielle moved to her dream city of Chicago and occasionally takes care of friends' cats when friends they out of town.
Lena Parker

Lena Parker

Hi! My name is Lena and I have lived with and taken care of pets all my life, specifically cats. I've had 3 different cats personally and with extended family I've taken care of 5. I'm used to all types of cats and I've grown up around dogs both large and small and have also lived with and cared for them, including helping take them to vet appointments and administering medicine. I love animals more than anything and am also looking into possibly being a Vet Tech in the future. My priority personally is to keep animals in my life no matter what else I do as I love being around them and caring for them so much.
Amy

Amy

Amy is another one of our very long time pet sitters and dog walkers. She doesn’t have a specific Chicago neighborhood that she covers, she goes almost everywhere she’s needed. Need a dog walk in the South Loop or Lincoln Park? Maybe a cat visit in Logan Square or Pilsen? How about an overnight in the Lakeshore East area or up in Edgewater? Done and done. Amy will not let you down, she makes Fetch! happen every day and is a great mentor for our new pet sitters and dog walkers too.

Alexandria

Alexandria

I was born and raised in the city of Chicago. Chicago gave me my love for animals, but my experience as a dog daycare attendant has brought out my love for pets and my appreciation for them. Becoming a pet parent to my sweet baby Chance has shown me how much of a difference a dog, a cat, or any animal can make in a persons life. I will always provide care and attention to every pet I meet as I know they are basically your children. I am currently in the Avondale area, but enjoy going to others as I have lived in multiple areas growing up. I look forward to meeting your fur-babies!

Andrea

I grew up with cats, dogs, birds, turtles, and bunnies! My love for animals only grew stronger as I got older, and I hope to establish a career in animal care. Outside of my love for animals, I am a professional dancer and I teach kids and adults.

Martina

Hi there, I’m Martina! I live in the Albany Park neighborhood. I am very excited to join Fetch! In my youth, my family had a beautiful husky-shepherd mix, and I’ve also experienced the joy of sharing a past life with three rescue cats. I absolutely love getting to know the unique personality every pet has. Once my children came into my life, my hopes of having pets in my house were sadly dashed. This is 100% why caring for your fur-babies will be such a fulfilling opportunity for me. I am a high school Special Education teacher who has a stressful job during the school year. I look at spending quality time with pets as much needed therapy! I am very much looking forward to hanging out with your pet and making them feel very loved! I promise to take extra care, send you updates and pictures, and be a proactive communicator!

Josie

Josie

I just moved to Chicago this year for my first year of college, and I’m so excited to provide care for pets in the area! My family and I adopted two high maintenance pit bull mixes in 2019, one with separation anxiety and one with storm anxiety. I know what it’s like to worry when your pet’s care is in the hands of someone else, so I’ll provide the best care and communication I can! I worked at a vet clinic for 2 years, so I’ve seen cared for pets either varying demeanors, from the sweetest to the most nervous. Since moving, I haven’t had interaction with pets, and I miss my dogs. The good news is, I’ve got all of that love saved up! I cant wait to meet you and your pets!

Cathy Selig

Cathy Selig

Grew up in Naperville but have lived in Chicago for the better part of my life. I have been owned by 3 cats and 2 dogs, grew up with more dogs than I can count (mini dachshunds and German Shepherds), volunteered as a cat foster with PAWS, and many years of pet-sitting a plethora of dogs, cats, and occasional other critters. Currently owned by my 9 year old beagle, Mr Peabody. I treat every pet as if they were my own and treat my job as one of utmost responsibility for them so they are safe and loved. They are amazing sentient beings (and the reason I became a vegan).
